In 2015, a dedicated group of friends came together with a common mission - to BBQ for pediatric brain cancer. They formed a dynamic team named "Smoke Dem if ya Got Dem" under the Hogs for the Cause banner. As the years passed, this team evolved, and by 2021, it predominantly comprised of the founding members and passionate Leaaf employees who shared a deep commitment to the cause. In 2022, fueled by their unwavering dedication, they took a bold step forward and established the nonprofit organization known as Cochon de Leaaf.

Hogs for the Cause is the premier nationwide funding source for outreach services for Pediatric Brain Cancer.
They empower local communities to help alleviate the financial burdens families face while their child battles cancer. Since 2009, the Hogs teams (like Cochon de Leaaf) efforts have helped them raise over $1.9 Million in direct grants to families battling pediatrics and another $3.6 Million for hospital programs and charities nationwide.
